Animals a Wildlife rarity; Mounted white tailed deer and red fox
albinos with short
text interpretive panel on albinism. Fox is mounted under plexi box and is 25 tall
and 18 square.
Deer is a standing full body mount in corner wall base approximately 5 1/2 feet from the
corner on
each side and 64 diagonally from the corner to the front edge of the display.

screen that we use to prevent touching is available attaches to wall corners with
wood at top and bottom.

- Title:
What Do I Eat? / Cold Blooded or Warm Blooded?
- Description:
This is a free standing, three sided display. Information is presented on
two sides in a "match the

to the picture" type of format. Kids use wires to match the correct
pairs. When correctly answered a
- circuit
is completed and a buzzer sounds. This is an older display that has been in
storage. Needs a little TLC,
- but
could be fixed up easily.

Des Moines River Freshwater Mussels
- Description:
This is a wall hanging display which has 14 mussel species laid out on a sandy
river bank. In the lower
- right
hand corner is a "live" mussel shell partially submerged in the river
(artificial water)

Making Tracks!
- Description:
This is a free standing display which holds a sand box for kids to make wildlife
tracks in. The edges are
- sealed
so you can add water to make wet sand (leaves much better tracks) without dripping on the
floor. Comes with two
- wildlife
tracks on handles (deer and raccoon -fox track got stolen). The upright panel has 3
flip boards with the animal's
- tracks
on the front and pictures of the critters underneath. Colors - brown and tan.

What's Your Wingspan?
- Description:
This is a free standing display which has life-size painted silhouettes of
7 birds (Bald Eagle, Turkey Vulture,
- Osprey,
Red-tailed Hawk, Peregrine Falcon, Coopers Hawk, Kestrel). The colors are various
shades of blue. Kids (and adults!)
- hold
their arms up to the display to see which bird they match in size.
